So after yesterday’s workout, I woke up and my back and legs were soooo stiff. Worst muscle ache I’d had in years! That was the most intense kick session I’d done since before I quit the gym for the summer, and what with the weighted hyperextension/plank supersets straight afterwards, it’s fair to say I fucked myself up.
6.5km gentle run outside.
No stops again – figured out the way to do that consistently is by running slower – who’d have thought it! Also I am not wanting to do long bouts of intense cardio so I can preserve muslce mass and not impact recovery. Really I just like running through the trees in autumn :)
