Deadlifts for lunch today…

Joint mobility and stretching – lots for my back

5 x empty bar
5 x 70kg
3 x 80kg
3 x 5 x 95kg

For some crazy reason I managed to do the whole of the first set with regular over-hand grip. So I carried on and got through all of them! Amazing! Really really pleased.

These past three days have seen some really cool stuff in my training – the 20km run, the straddle back lever and now 3 x 5 x 95kg deads with over-handed grip. Was knackered by the evening though so decided to skip the planned lat session and rest. Although I ended up getting insomnia, lying awake till 2am and having to be up at 7am. Boo.
