My legs and hamstrings, especially up by my groin, were aching, but I decided the best plan was to do a nice slow steady 10km, which is exactly what I did. For the first time ever I didn’t stop at all, except to cross the road.
I was aiming for quite a slow time – 1h10m, but when I looked at RunKeeper at about 5km in, it said 28 minutes, so I figured I may as well keep going at the pace I was.
After the run I did 45m of stretching and foam rolling in the gym, hidden away in the studio. It was one of the most painful foam rolling sessions of my life.
