Squats ‘n’ deads


2 x 5 x empty bar
5 x 5 x 47.5kg
2m rest periods

All fine. Legs still f-ed after weekend (and yesterday didn’t help)


Last week of deload, and it felt as hard as 100kg was when I left it! (Although the form was better).

5 x empty bar
3 x 65kg
2 x 75kg
1 x 85kg
3 x 5 x 95kg
2m rest period for warm-up sets, 5m for main


Went to Primrose with Chris. Met up with Ify and a couple of the other guys. Really nice evening, really good fun.

Various things, including:

  • 3 x MU -> 10 x straight bar dips
  • 15 x dips (tried to beat Chris, failed)
  • Handstand practise
  • 2 x across the monkey bars in chin-up 90 degree grip
  • 15s top/middle/bottom holds
  • High neutral grip pulls on the monkey bar
  • 2 x 10 slow wide push ups
