Run

Treadmill hill intervals

1km warm up @ 5:39 pace
200m @ 6:00 pace @ 3% incline
50m walk @ 9.19 pace (same incline)
Repeat for 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13%
Then
7 rounds of sticking at 12%
Cool down round at 7 and 3%
Cool down jog of 1km @ 6:00 pace.

1km warm up, 5km hills, 1km cool down

 

Bartendarz class

Got a day pass for Gymbox. Did Bartendarz class which was 45 minutes of full-on reps. Not what I do at all and actually not much fun either! Wasn’t mad keen on the 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 pull ups… and I don’t think my shoulders were either! Wanted to use the band but wasn’t allowed ;) Three months off has properly caught up with me – not good. Also did 25 chin ups, squats, lunges, push ups (haha I can’t remember the last time I did them!). Anyhow, was cool to train with Jaz and see her badassery in action :) 

 

Aerial hoop

Noticed that there was another class after Bartendarz so signed up for that. Totally fricking awesome and I didn’t totally fricking suck at it, so yay. Actually good crossover from rings training. The hoop itself is mad uncomfortable though. Seriously considering a Gymbox membership for winter now…
